Looking for J and F

I’m searching for JOY and FUN as I wander through life these days. My life seems to be filled with people I love and so much to do that even LEISURE is not around as much as she should be. But JOY and FUN are totally missing right now and I long for their return.

JOY is the one that provides that inner warmth, almost a glow, that combines happiness, contentment, and all things good. Is there a Reiki treatment for the soul that brings back JOY?

FUN is the other one that can bring on gut-splittling laughter. It’s been a while since I’ve heard myself laugh. It’s a sound that’s not so natural for me, but one that makes me feel light and happy.

So if you see JOY and FUN, send them my way. Life is certainly good enough without them, but I know how much better it can be when they are around.

I'm shocked. Often, when I'm looking for J&F, I find them here.

Rent some looney tunes. get plenty o' rascally rabbit.
World Music festival in arlington tomorrow.
paint-out at pearmund vineyards this weekend
play a game of sorry with verybody in the house -- make sure you drink and trash-talk.
join somebody for a barbecue this weekend -- make sure you drink and trash-talk.
go to the sunset grille saturday night for some rockabilly -- you'll find my brothers and I drinking and trash-talking

Ulysses -- Maybe the rascally rabbit or drinking & trash-talking will bring back these 2 friends who have gone AWOL! All good ideas I will consider as I make a plan for the weekend.

Now if the dark of the night
Arrives in the middle of the day
I'm gonna say my prayer
For sweetness and light,
Gonna fix myself a coke,
And hope its alright

If the bat-winged beasts sweep down
For a feast on me
I'm gonna pin my soul
To a hot-air balloon
Gonna make it pop
And shoot me to the moon

Now you've had another piece of my mind,
A cup of coffee and a slice of time
If you'll excuse me I should say goodbye
I gotta go now.

David -- Welcome back to Blogdom.

Adrian -- Great imagery and from a good year. I think we were born the same year, yes?

As far as we're concerned we find J&F everywhere we go (which is approximately 110 Domestic/Canadian locations). Is it possible you are trying too hard to structure J&F? J&F are eluding your daily life possibly because you are being too structured. Structure is a good thing, too much structure is not. We talk structure because we don't trash talk. Our southern upbringing and Miss Faye discouraged that base behavior.

We happen to know a Daisy who is at this moment experiencing EXTREME J&F as she is leaving on a Jet Plane (and we don't know when she'll be back again). We trust her ATL to ANC adventure will bring not only present J&F but years of memories filled with J&F.

Thinking of you brings free flowing nonstructured J&F.

We remain forever your friends,
M&F

M&F -- Yay for daisies! Just thinking of you brings me JOY. There's a lot going on around here these days that I can't really write about and that has a lot to do with my present state of funk. I'm ever hopeful things will really look up and so will I. Meanwhile, I trust you will have F and spread J to all those many cities all over the continent. Love to hear from both of you! Here's a hug coming your way.

You need another get-together with some babes from high school or some you know so well you can really just hang out and be you....like my sisters. We just had so many laughs on our holiday. I have some camp friends I do that with too. We're planning a Murder Mystery Night soon. You'll find something!

Honey- Put on your straw cowboy hat. I'm picking you up- we're gonna put the top down on my car, crank up the stereo and drive out to the country for no damn reason.
That's pure joy!
