Lost and Found

I’ve come to the sad realization that not everyone who is lost wants to be found. Sometimes there are no reasons given, but simply the acceptance that our paths will probably never again cross.

One more reason to concentrate on the present moment. It’s all we can be sure of as we breathe in and breathe out. That’s life.

Barbara ....Maybe they are not lost? Maybe we just feel the loss of them? Perhaps they are moving to their own inner rhythms? Which are different to ours.

Who knows what paths will re-cross in the future?

Hope 2008 brings you happiness and joy in abundance.

nobody's lost - we're just taking different ways (and sometimes the long way) home...

Maybe, just maybe, there's a reason to find him/her. It's not in the grand plan.

Thanks, everyone. I deliberately didn't give you a lot to work with here, but I'm glad to see what I said resonated with you.

Welcome, Dave. A new face I think? I love the Frost poem.

The present, that's really all we have.

i completely feel for what you are writing here. sometimes i see the path others are taking and wonder deeply why they rather be 'lost' as you put it so nicely. but then i see that their path is truly not mine to decide, analyse or classify.

It's hard to say if they just don't feel they're lost and want you to leave them be, or that they don't realize they're lost and need your help and will be glad to get it.
