Rain

We anchored last night at a hot springs resort owned by the shipping company. It promised to be a day of hiking and thermal hot springs, punctuated by a barbeque.

But then we woke up to rain that was unrelenting. So instead we started the day with a boat trip down the fjord in the rain. The clouds were so low you could almost touch them. The highlight of the boat trip was a group of sea lions playing in the water and on the adjoining rocks.

We came back to enjoy the indoor hot springs, which were around 100 degrees F. It felt good to float around on noodles in the very warm water while the rain continued to fall on the roof.

Lunch featured the two lambs we picked up a couple of days ago on our way to the San Rafael Glacier. In addition, we also had beef and chicken and empanadas and potatoes and salad and so much to drink.

As we walked back to the boat, we spied these gorgeous hydrangeas.

We are hoping for clear skies tomorrow, or at least not another day of rain.

Good luck on the weather, but it sounds like you're not letting it dampen your experiences too much. I love those hydrangeas!
