Thar She Blows

I'm thinking of buying stock in Kimberly Clark. I have used an unbelievable number of Kleenexes in the past 2 days. I wonder if you can get dehydrated from blowing your nose? I wonder if there is really a point beyond which there is nothing left to blow? As I sit here eating a big bowl of chicken soup, I'm getting impatient for its curative powers to exert themselves. Instead I just sneeze and blow yet another time...

Poor Barbara! Have you taken to sleeping with tissues shoved up your nose? Feel better soon!

Kristin -- No, I have this thing about being able to breathe through my nose instead of my mouth. That's a little hard to do with tissues shoved up your nose. The problem last night was that I could never get my nose to clear so I slept very little. A trip to CVS for nosedrops is in the plan for today after work.

You're still going in to work? Yikes! Take a day off! I've heard of so many people who have had the same bug off and on for a couple of months! It gets bad when you have to use vaseline on your red nose from blowing so much. Hope it leaves you soon. Great picture and title!

If I had my way, you would be at home, in bed, under the covers with your pillows all poofed up, reading something stupid like Vanity Fair magazine. Honestly it helps with the kleenex consumption.

The pic is hilarious on this post.

Gezundheit!!

I can sympathize - I've had some incredibly wacky bloody snot rockets lately.

MOI, Reya -- I've always had a hard time missing school or work. Maybe someday I'll adopt the same attitude I now have toward big snow storms, feeling content to just take a day off. But that obviously hasn't happened yet. Thanks for the motherly advice though.

MSnay -- I can't say I'm having projectile nose blowing, just a steady stream which seems to be subsiding. Get well, too!
