I am utterly amazed that Colette, whom I just met recently through the Blogger poetry day, has included me in her Excellent Awards list. I feel as though I have known this person who lives in the wilds of Canada for a lifetime, and yet it has been only a couple of weeks.

Even better than the “nomination” was the list of other Bloggers she included: Lynne, Corrine, Michael, Loretta, and Kimy, each one of which is an exceptional artist of some sort. How in the world do I fit in with this group?

Of course, this nomination process is intended to be something like a chain letter. I am now expected to nominate my 5, who will in turn nominate their 5, etc. But the last time I tried that, I erred by leaving off people I love, whose Blogs I read every day. So instead I will take a deep bow, say “Thank you,” and just keep Blogging, along with all those very EXCELLENT people who inhabit the Blog world. A round of applause for ALL of US!

Let's see, how could you fit into that fine group? We could begin with the deliberate way you lead your life, including actively seeking good health with exercise (some very interesting - tap)and cooking and eating (which you share with your readers. In addition, your work with Reading Connection & RAK, which lead you to helping with sewing & collecting gently used baby items. All of which you share eloquently with us! Card making, too. Thank you, Barbara!

Steve -- Welcome back, buddy! I've missed you. I love reading what your daughter has to say. I'm so glad she was reunited with her dog!

LR -- I keep trying to twist your arm to write your own Blog. An English major who loves to write and has untold stories to tell -- can't I tempt you? You could just have a photo Blog. Talk about talented people...

Yikes, why does that backwards leaning "E" look like the Enron logo? I hope the Excellent Blogger awards folks are more rule-abiding than the Enron bosses.

Kristin -- Thank you!

MC -- Maybe Enron in their desperation sold off the rights to their "E"! There are no rules in Blogging, right?

Kimy -- Glad to have you in my Blog "family"!

Pauline -- You are too kind!

She is obviously a very perspicacious person.

You are also incredibly regular. One thing I noticed while I was off is that most other bloggers don't actually blog that often - sometimes not for weeks.
