iPads Everywhere

On our flight from Dulles to LA, we saw iPads everywhere. There were 3 in our row. The person behind me reading an actual book looked quite out of place.

It is really amazing what a culture shift there has been. We are truly becoming an electronic society.

I am glad I gave up the notion that I liked to touch and smell the pages.

It is truly an electronic society but I don't have an ipad or no intention of getting one.(at least not yet!)
I still love to take my books when I travel!

Not sure if I fit in with this electronic society.

I actually finished a book (old format)at the gym today. Had to switch to the bike in order to sit and finish it. Could not hold it while seating on the Arc Trainer. Couldn't wait to get back to the easy large font of my Kindle. (By the way, I downloaded 6 books on that Kindle before out last overseas trip.) Do not miss old format one iota. A book is a book. Kindle /Ipad/ Nook ROCK!!!!

I'll be a Paper Person until the day I die -- books, newspapers, calendar, writing... But: today my very first smartphone arrives. So I AM dragging myself into the 21st century! :-)
